I have a ranbge for Dell PowerConnect switches and I need to create a user account with just ebnough privilegers to do show running-config. The account wiull be used by a product like Tripwire to login, caputre the current configuration and compaore to previous captures so we can spot unauthorised changes.
I can see the options for creating usernames and enable password for different levels, but am unable to find anything that refers to restricting commands or associating commands with different levels in the same way I can do on Cisco.
