To NPAR or not - VLAN or not?

I am working on our new VMware platform. We are planning on running the hypervisors on a M1000e chassis with 3 x M620 blades, Equallogic SAN 6210 x2 , 2 x Force10 MXL and 2 x M8024-k

Our current infrastructure has 12 1gb NICs per hypervisors, thus enabling NIC redundancy/multipath for management, 3 vlans, vmotion and iscsi.

The new environment has only 6 10gb NICS per host, how do I get the same redundancy?  I have looked around and NPAR seemed to be the answer but there are people out there that say NPAR is bad and that VLANs should be used.  How would VLANs enable NIC redundancy?

Any recommendations/sugestions would be appreciated.  Examples of config would be appreciated too, 10gb switches are a new thing to me.

Many thanks
