We have had our MXL blade switches for a year or so It was originally configured by dell. We setup a vlan for san traffic to stay contained within the blade chassis I want to now extend that out to a server. I need a little assistance with adding a route i believe I have the routes configured on our Cisco router just need to add them in the MXL not exactly sure how to get those two talking
VLAN 1 - (ALL Traffic) 10.1.1.5 255.255.252.0 default gateway 10.1.1.1
VLAN 7 (SAN traffic) 192.168.175.0 255.255.255.0 default gateway 192.168.175.235
I believe the route should be something like this
on the cisco side
192.168.175.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.1.5
on the MXL side
10.1.1.1 255.255.252.0 192.168.175.235
But i dont know how to add that route. Thanks for any help you can provide i also acknowledged that i could be misunderstanding how this should work. Thank you for any help in getting this workings
