Hi,
We have 5 Dell N3048 switches stacked and are looking at segregating VLAN's by binding the MAC address to a specific VLAN and then denying/allowing access to each VLAN. We have setup the rules for denying allowing say access from VLAN1 to VLAN2 and VLAN2 to VLAN1 and setup the VLAN port tagging for this test. We now however would like to use the MAC binding to then bind a mac to a VLAN. However when we set this up the it does not seem to work correctly as the rules already setup don't permit/allow access. According to the documentation for these switches this is possible however there isn't much information in there. Has anyway set this up already or give any clarification to if this works the same as binding to IP subnet.
If you need any more info let me know
Thanks.
