Hi,
I currently have both phones and desktops on the same 10.0.50.x IP subnet across two N2048P switches (Unit 1 and 2). The computers receive their internet connection daisy chained from the phones.
My end goal would be to have all of the phones on a separate subnet, 10.0.55.x, yet can obviously still communicate with the rest of the network.
I've created a VLAN on the switch, VLAN 55, which I would ideally like to service just the phones (which I would filter by MAC address presumably), and hands out 10.0.55.x addresses via DHCP (either from the switch itself, or out server where a scope is pre-configured.)
I feel like I vaguely have different pieces of the puzzle in order to put this together but can't quite tie it all up.
Any help on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!
Rob
