Gb not working with C6100 variant server

I have a 2848 and I am having a problem with one specific server. I can't get the switch and server connected at 1000Mbps

If I plug the server directly into my laptop, it connects at gig. If I plug my laptop into the same port on the switch it connects at gig.

I have a handful of other things connected working fine. I tried turning off Green Ethernet and manually changing the port settings. If i set the switch to manual 100MB/Full it connects. It will not work with even manual 1000MB/full

Does anybody have any idea what is going on?
