I have "inherited" a network new to me as part of a new position. We are using all Dell switches.
In one of our closets, I am out of ports. One of our switches is a Dell 3524P; I have a Dell 3548P that I could put in its place to double the ports without needing more rack space. Is there an easy way to migrate the configuration of the 24-port switch to the 48-port model, or will I need to manually configure the new switch?
If it helps, the current configuration in the rack is as follows:
PowerConnect 6248P (serving as the gateway) IP x.x.x.20
PowerConnect 3524P, IP x.x.x.22
PowerConnect 3548P, IP x.x.x.23
