Can't Access Powerconnect 6248 GUI - Problems with Startup Wizard

I have two Powerconnect 6248 running 3.3.3. I can not access the GUI interface. Basically, right now I just want to connect the switch to my laptop for testing.  I can't do this.  I keep getting configuration errors and I can never access the GUI via a browser.

I've followed the startup wizard as described here: ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_powerconnect/powerconnect-6248_User's%20Guide2_en-us.pdf

and watched the Dell Studios video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t786JiHaiPs

The datacenter gave me a bunch of IP addresses, but I didn't think I need to enter those in now since I am just trying to connect via my laptop to test.

For some reason I go through the configuration and this is the error I get:

User Account setup = admin

Password = ********

Management IP address = 192.168.2.2 /24

Default Gateway = 192.168.2.1

Step 5:

If the information is correct, please select (Y) to save the configura tion,

and copy to the start-up configuration file. If the information is inc orrect,

select (N) to discard configuration and restart the wizard: [Y/N] y

Thank you for using Dell Easy Set up Wizard. You will now enter CLI mo de.

Applying Interface configuration, please wait ...
