We currently have 2x s6000 acting as our network core with a number of n2048s being used for access.
One switch stack consists of 6 switches of which the first 4 switches each have an uplink to both core1 and core2. Therefore there is 40GB to core1 and 40GB to core2 (80GB in total).
I've been asked to look at splitting the stacks so they have 2x 3switch stacks each with 60GB uplinks - i.e. 120GB in total.
Could we not just connect uplinks to switches 5 and 6 in the stack? I don't see why we need to split?
Thanks for any advice on this.
