We are looking at redoing our network using proper switches and hierarchies (core, distribution, access). Per SonicWALL's tech support and https://support.software.dell.com/kb/sw6234 (See Step 1: Stateful High Availability Cabling Example), we'd like to go ISP, Dell 3024N, SonicWALL firewall. Do you agree with this, and if so, how would we configure a brand new Dell 3024N for this WAN role? Not sure how the ISP box would talk thru the switch to the firewall. Also, since the switch would be "outside" the firewall (DHCP server), how would we manage it? Just console to it as needed?
