I have a Dell powerconnect 2848 plugged into a port on a dell n3048. I have the mac address of the 2848 but not the IP. When I look at the arp table on the 3048 it does not display the 2848 plugged into the port. Is there a way to refresh? Should I enable Dynamic Renew in the configuration table? If I do will that disrupt the users attached. Just trying to figure out the IP of the2848 switch without interrupting the network.
