We have three Dell Power Connect on our network core. Two 6248 and one 6224 every one with a different network and aren't connected to each other. One of the 6248 have the firmware version 3.2.1.3 and the other 6248 and the 6224 have the firmware version 3.3.11.2.
We traffic a lot of video streams through multicast with igmp-snooping configured, and we noticed the same problem in all these switches (not simultaneously). Approximately every two months the multicast traffic stop working for two minutes and it came back. The unicast traffic keep working normal during the issue
Using the command "show process cpu", we have noticed that the process' percentage for "snoopTask" goes very high during the issue.
Is this a known bug? Will it be fixed soon?
