I'd like to configure my VRTX 2401 as follows on my ESXi 5.5 server but am having some difficulty getting the proper LAG & VLAN configuration and hoping someone can help.
ESXi 5.5
vmnic 0/1 (Internal network, vmk0)
vmnic 2/3 (iSCSI network, vmk1
Blade/Slot-01
GI 1/1-2 (Internal network)
GI 1/3-4 (iSCSI network)
GI 0/1-4 (internal network, LAG1, trunk to internal switch(es) with VLAN 1,25,50)
GI 0/5-8 (iSCSI network, LAG2, trunk to iSCSI switch, no VLAN on destination switch)
The plan is to dedicate two of four NICs on Slot-01 to carrying traffic to internal network and iSCSI networks, respectively. Four of eight external ports would be configured as LAG to connect to internal and iSCSI networks, respectively.
How do I configure so that:
GI 1/1-2 route traffic on VLAN 1, 25, & 50 through Gi 0/1-4;
Gi 1/3-4 route traffic on VLAN xx (or untagged, preferably) through Gi 0/508?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
