Connecting 2 N3048P switches for HA to 2 S4810 Switches.

We have a new office where we were fortunate to be able to start from the ground up. Our layout is that we have 2 S4810 Switches which are our top of rack switches (TOR), We then have our end user switches in stacks of 3. The 10 Gb ports on the stacks are plugged in to the TOR switches. I am using port channels for the links between the TOR and the end user stacks. These seem to be working fine and am using vrrp for routing on the TOR switches.

Then we have 2 server side switches that are nor in a stack that I "had" the 2 10Gb ports on each switch going to the TOR switches one for each TOR switch. The port channels were set up like the stacks were and it seemed to be working.  We experienced some issues and thought It was those connections so I unplugged them. One of the issues we have been having is that if we take a server or an equalogic san and split the LAN connections between the two switches it does not work correctly. I can ping and such but not access the server via RDP. If I plug the LAN in to the same switch then it works.

What is the best way to make the two server switches act as a single switch? I can't use mlag because it is not supported going to the S4810 switches.  Should I just create a LAG between the two server switches? Thoughts? Suggestion of changes?
