Warranty on Used X-series switch

Hey,

I am interested in purchasing a Dell x1052 x-series switch. But had a question on it regarding warranty. I know that buying used laptops the warranty can be transferred over to the new owner. So, does the same apply for a used x-series switch. The previous owner only used it slightly and it hasn't been tampered with, so if i buy it will Dell's original warranty still hold up?
