Our company is in the middle of standing up a SAN between two colocation facilties. The two facilities will be connected via two layer 2 private leased lines, each side with a two member Dell N4064F stack. The idea is/was to have the two private long hauls bundled into an LACP port-channel for redundancy.
What we ultimately would like is to have one leased line working at full capacity, and the other being completely unused unless necessary. We are hoping we can get the secondary leased line as a burstable circuit that is only used when the original line is maxed out. I do not believe an LACP bundle will bleed traffic over to another port-channel member when necessary. Does anyone know of another way I could make something like this happen? Remember the connections between facilities/switch stacks are just Layer2, cannot do any Layer 3 routing in between.
