Dear All,
Hope you are doing fine. I have a Blade Chassis with 10G Pass through in Fabric A1/A2, 2 Blade servers which are running on Oracle Linux 7.2; and an external switch pair Cisco 2960X-24TS-L with 4 SFP Uplinks. I am trying to connect the Servers with my LAN which are connected to the Cisco Switches.
I have direct attached cables of 10G SFP+ from CISCO for connecting between them. I can connect the blade servers between them; i can connect both switches uplinks ports, but not the blade with Switches.
I have configured the cisco switches for non supported/ unknown transceivers/ GBIC byt below commands:
Global:
#service unsupported-transceiver
#no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid
Port Specific:
#speed nonegotiate
But, still cannot configure the Blade LOM ports to make the speed 1G so that they can connect.
Anyone have any idea for the scenario? Mainly where can I configure the LOM ports, from chassis/ from Server iDRAC/ Server OS/ Pass-through IP Module or somewhere else?
