Stuck at pinging out of vlan on S3048

Hi. trying to get started on setting up a new network with a S3048 as the core switch. As a starter i've created a vlan - id 100. This has been assigned to port ge 1/1. Connected to this port i have (at the moment ) a pc. This can ping both the vlan ip address and the management ip address of the switch. I've set port ge 1/48 to be a member of Port channel 1 and (i think) allowed vlan 100 untagged traffic though this, however i cannot ping either the router connected to this port or anything connected after it. I guess i'm missing several things here.  Below are the show configs for each section:

interface GigabitEthernet 1/1
 no ip address
 switchport
 no shutdown

interface GigabitEthernet 1/48
 no ip address
 port-channel-protocol LACP
  port-channel 1 mode active
 no shutdown

interface Vlan 100
 ip address 10.0.10.1/24
 untagged GigabitEthernet 1/1
 untagged Port-channel 1
 no shutdown

interface Port-channel 1
 no ip address
 portmode hybrid
 switchport
 no shutdown

Can anybody guide me here - i'd like to be able to route all traffic from whatever vlan's i setup across interface ge 1/48 (ie as a trunk)

Thanks

Roger
