I've got an m1000e with (2) M I/O aggregator cards (slot A1 & B1) cabled via the 40g ports to (2) S6000 switches set up in VLT mode. I am using the default port channel (128) and ports 33-40 on both I/O's, and port channel 128 on the S6000's (dynamically assigned). I was able to get the ports up on both sides, but I've noticed that I can only get one I/O port channel active at any given time. Either A1 is active or B1, never both. If I reload one of the I/O's the port channel will fail over to the other I/O. My question is whether this is by design or is something configured incorrectly? I did notice that DCB and Flowcontrol are configured on the B1 side ports and I can't remove it, yet they are not configured on the A1 side, and I cannot modify them to add it. The cards have the same OS, version number and look to have been built within hours of each other. I'm new to Dell, so any help anyone can provide would be great!
