Good day to All
I have a stacked pair of PE 8024 blade switches, a 10gb interface from each (eg. Te1/0/1 and Te2/0/1) presents to a pair of NICs on the physical side of a vSwitch (I have 4 hosts altogether) . At the moment I have them trunked to allow a number of VLANs to traverse. My question is would it be ok or even good practice to create a Port-Group/LAG containing Te1/0/1 and Te2/0/1 so that I can use IP Hashing load balancing to fully utilise the bandwidth. I have read that using 2 trunked connections is not efficient. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Eric
