We have an N1548P switch which connects to a number of splicecom phones. Our PCs plug into the phones. Therefore the phones and PCs are sharing a switch port. Currently everything is in vlan 1.
We'd like to move our PCs and servers into a new VLAN to isolate them from the voice traffic.
Therefore am trying to setup the switchports with vlan 50 for PCs, and leaving the phones in vlan 1. I'm having problems getting this to work however. A colleague has suggested that only the PCs can be on untagged vlan? Can anyone suggest a config for this?
