Port mirror only shows received packets on a 6248

For some strange reason only received packets are being captured.  The show monitor session 1 displays the following:

Session ID   Admin Mode   Probe Port   Mirrored Port   Type
----------   ----------   ----------   -------------   -----
1            Enable       1/g19        2/g18           Rx,Tx

I connected my monitor to a different model switch and it does work.

Here are the applicable config lines:

monitor session 1 destination interface 1/g19
monitor session 1 source interface 2/g18
monitor session 1 mode

I am running version 3.3.8.2

I would like to know if others are successfully capturing packets, also.
