I tried to set Mac-based authentication on Force10 S50N.
Plateform : force10 S50N
version:8.4.2.7
I set the shared key 12345678 on Radius server
First, I set switch radius-server key 12345678. I "show running-config" and I saw "radius-server key 7 (encrypted pwd)"
Then, I changed to set "radius-server key 0 12345678" , show running-config, I saw "radius-server key 7 (encrypted pwd)" , too.
I tried to set " radius-server key 7 12345678" , I received the error message : Invalid encrypted key
I have two questions,
1. How can I set the password as plaintaxt?
2. If the password has been encrypted, can the switch communication well with the radius server?
Does anyone have idea?
