VLANs and Stacking

Hello,

I'm new to the term stacking and I couldnt find any good sources about a question I have.

If I stack 3 switches (7024), is it possible to assign Port 12 on Switch 3 to VLAN 10, as an example?

Since I've read that all the settings apply to the whole stack, does that mean that all Port# 12 will join VLAN 10?

How does it work?
