We've got several Dell 6224 Switches installed and working. 2 of the network switches are connected and routing internet traffic. The routing protocol, OSPF, is in a default state as Admin mode enabled.
We have a symptom that when we lose one of our ISP links at one of the 2 locations, the other working ISP link seems to degrade as well. Would OSPF play any part in that mis-configuraion? What is the downside of disabling the OSPF admin mode all together? We statically route all of our nodes/networks.
