Hi,
We've recently purchased 2 x Dell S60 switches to use with an Avid ISIS 5000 storage server. I'm trying to setup a VLAN for all workstations that connect to the Avid ISIS server and not having any luck with getting these workstations to access the internet and ping workstations on our main LAN. I also need to get the ISIS server connected to the internet to activate the licensing.
Our main office LAN is 192.168.0.0/24
Our internet gateway is 192.168.0.23
Our domain controllers (DHCP, DNS) are 192.168.0.10 & 192.168.0.11
The Avid ISIS IP address is 192.168.255.21.
I've set up a VLAN for the "ISIS VLAN" with the IP address 192.168.255.254/24 and added the untagged gigabitethernet and tengigabitethernet interfaces to the VLAN. I've added our DCs as IP helper-addresses.
I've setup another VLAN as an "uplink VLAN". This uses gigabitethernet port 0/43 with an IP address of 192.168.0.13/24
I've setup an ip route of 0.0.0.0/0 192.168.0.23
An example of the network settings I have put on an ISIS VLAN workstation is:
IP address: 192.168.255.100
Subent mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.255.254
I can ping 192.168.255.21, 192.168.255.254 and 192.168.0.13 from this workstation but cannot ping 192.168.0.23 or any other device on 192.168.0.0/24
Is there anything that I have missed here? Any help would be much appreciated. Here is the running-config:
