Has anyone ever experienced this before? We have 2 dell force 10 switches in our infrastructure and we just recently purchased a Poweredge VRTX with 2 blade servers for our environment. We installed the VRTX into the rack and powered it up but when we plugged the NIC Cards into the switch, our switch logs show a huge power draw and it maxes out the switch and crashes the entire switch requiring a reboot. We don't see any loops or other issues with the port configurations at the time.
I was unable to find any similar posts like this and I am not sure if this is even the proper forum for this post but I assume if I'm wrong it will be moved to the proper place by an admin. Any thoughts are more than welcome!
