We have a couple of 3rd-party 'compatible' SR transceivers that only operate when switch port is set to 'stacking.'
When set to 'ethernet' the 8024F no longer recognises them.
In neither case are we able to get any diagnostic information from the switches.
What are the recommended SR transceivers for the Dell 8024F?
I've seen previous posts mentioning Dell N743D and also finisar ftlx8571d3bcl.
Are these identical, or does Dell add some special sauce to the mix?
Is the N743D the absolutely correct module for 8024F?
Are there other known working options for SR (850nm) transceivers?
