Dell PowerConnect 2848 uplink and management

Hi,

We use 4 Dell PowerConnect 2848 switches for iDRAC traffic. This works perfectly.
We use port 1 to 42 to connect to the servers, and 43 for the uplink. These ports are all in VLAN1021.

However with this setup we do not have telnet on the switch. So I've setup VLAN1 to have an IP address and set port 44, 46 and 47 in VLAN1 untagged. (I'm aware that you can't set the management IP address in another VLAN except VLAN1, found that out the hard way).
VLAN1 is setup as below:
I am unable to edit VLAN1 for any port because of some odd reason. I can click whatever I want, but it doesn't change anything. But the real problem is:

When I get the cable for management in the switch, I am unable to reach the switch, and only iDRAC traffic works. When I remove the uplink for iDRAC traffic, I'm able to access the switch again via the managemnt IP address.
Could someone help me out with how I need to setup the VLAN's?
We use this for all of our networks, which works fine with Dell 5800 series and HP ProCurve, but only these series give us a lot of trouble with this..
