Dear members,
I need to configure a solution in which qty2 CNAs Qlogic 57810s are been used in LOM & port B of each m630 blade server, converged MXL switches placed in A1A2 & B1B2 slots. All the switches have below mentioned IO modules:
- SFP+ 10GbE Module 4 port Hot Swappable 4x SFP+ ports (optics or direct attach cables)
- Fibre Channel Flex I/O Module with 4xDell Networking, Transceiver, SFP+,FC,150M,SW,FIN
Below are the requirements of client
- Stack A1A2
- Stack B1B2
- All paths for SAN from Flex IO modules & for LAN from SFP+ must be active active to achieve CNA level redundancy. attached is a diagram for better understanding.
- All the empty ports from each blade switch will be terminated at DMZ switch of the customer by using SFP+ to 1GBE RJ45 convertor.
I know how to stack A1A2 together & B1B2 switches together, i need to know what should be configured at CNA level to support active active connections/paths. plus A1A2 & B1B2 switches to support FIN & Flex IO for a converged n/w infra.
