I am out of my realm of expertise. We are trying to get a new phone system up and running on our network and the ability to page is holding us up from going live.
We have two TOR switches (S4810) that all the distro switches are connected to (N3048P) we have isolated the ip phones to their own VLAN (60) with the CIsco phone servers on VLAN 64. Everything seems to work inside and out except for paging. I assume it is a multicast issue since multicast has never been implemented on the switches.
I have enabled multicast globally on the switches but that is as far as I have gotten. The TOR switches are using VRRP for VLAN 60 and also VLT between the switches.
What do I need to do next? so confused right now.
